Colleen-Maree Bates has worked with children and adults with disabilities for over 12 years, primarily with adults with Acquired Brain Injuries and children with Autism. Colleen-Maree is also the mother of a 9 year old diagnosed with Autism at aged 2. Having studied a Bachelor of Social Science in Youth Work in the 1990's and completed a Graduate Diploma of Education in 2004, Colleen-Maree has worked in a variety of teaching roles from Kindy to year 12. After personal study and many hours with occupational therapists it was clear that when working with children with disabilities much behaviour was based around sensory integration problems and that these needed to be addressed in order to successfully change behaviour and increase learning attention.

Colleen-Maree is the only Level 3 Masgutova Specialist in Australia and has had the privilege of training alongside Dr Svetlana Masgutova at 2 family conferences. Colleen-Maree has completed training in  7 MNRI protocols; MNRIŽ Dynamic and Postural Reflex Pattern Integration , MNRIŽ Visual & Auditory Reflexes Integration, MNRIŽ Tactile Integration, MNRIŽ Archetype Motor Movements, MNRIŽ Neuro- structural Integration, MNRIŽ Breathing Reflex Integration, MNRIŽ Facial Reflex Integration

Colleen-Maree  is proud to be the only is the only Level 3 Masgutova Specialist in Australia  and the first Western Australian licensed provider of the  TomatisŽ method.
